Born in Minsk in 1990, Dmitry Matvienko won the First Prize and the Audience Award at the latest edition of the Malko Competition in Copenhagen, the most prestigious international competition for young conductors, after coming third and winning the Critics’ Award at the Cantelli Competition in Novara in 2020.
