The stage will be for the brass of the Orchestra and for the voices of La Fenice Choir, which will propose an original program opened by Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for a common Man and then composed by music by Claudio Monteverdi, Giovanni Gabrieli and Johann Sebastian Bach : in particular, the Toccata from the Monteverdi’s Orfeo will be performed; then Gabrieli’s Canzon VII Toni and Canzon Duodecimi Toni, Sonata Pian e Forte, Canon 27 and 28, La spiritata for brass and “Angelus domini” for chorus; Bach’s motet for a cappella choir “Jesu meine Freude” BWV 227; finally again of the «divine Claudio», the Vespers of the Blessed Virgin for brass instruments.
