Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker has been an essential part of the Christmas season across the world for decades. In collaboration with Tamás Solymosi, the renowned Wayne Eagling has choreographed a new, fairy-tale-inspired ballet for this timeless piece of classical music. It marked the first time in the history of the Hungarian National Ballet that an artist of such international acclaim created a choreography specifically tailored to the company, taking into account its unique qualities. The result is a production that brings the festive magic of ballet to the stage in an even more spectacular and dance-rich version than ever before.
