The programme offers tribute to Niccolò Castiglioni through a selection of works by Haydn, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Schubert – composers he loved and whose music accompanied him during his stays in the mountains. Haydn’s Trio and Schubert’s Sonata represent the Hausmusik repertoire: simple yet rich in invention. Alongside these, Castiglioni’s Tropi, Daleth and Romanzetta are performed, showcasing three distinct phases of his musical exploration.
