Tom Ollendorff
Born in London in 1992, British guitarist Tom Ollendorff is one of the most distinctive young voices on the international jazz scene. A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, he was awarded the Yamaha Parliamentary Jazz Scholarship in 2015.
He released his debut album A Song For You (Fresh Sound Records, 2021), gaining international acclaim and performing at major festivals and venues across Europe and Asia, including Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz à Vienne, Malta Jazz Festival, and The Cotton Club Tokyo. His subsequent releases include Open House (2023), featuring his long-standing trio with Marc Michel and Conor Chaplin and guest saxophonist Ben Wendel, and Enchanted, co-led with Ari Hoenig.
In 2024, Ollendorff released his first solo album, Solo Volume 1 (Ubuntu Records). Renowned for his refined sound, harmonic sophistication, and sensitivity, he is also active as an educator and visiting tutor at leading music institutions.
